Maintenance

Motion models are built for long-term mobility. The safest and most reliable ownership experience comes from consistent preventive maintenance.

Stage 1

Before every ride

  • Do a quick visual inspection.
  • Test front and rear brakes for firm response.
  • Check lights and display before moving.
  • Confirm tire pressure is within sidewall recommendation.

Stage 2

Monthly check (or every 150 miles)

  • Inspect frame, fork, and stem hardware for tightness.
  • Check tire condition and sidewall wear.
  • Clean and lubricate moving drivetrain components when applicable.
  • Verify wheel alignment and unusual vibration or noise.

Stage 3

Every 6 months (or every 500 miles)

  • Schedule a professional tune-up and full safety review.
  • Inspect brake pads, rotors, and hydraulic response.
  • Review battery mount, connectors, and cable integrity.
  • Run motor and controller diagnostics with a qualified technician.
