The sheet lists 50 km. In Costa Rica, real range changes with rider load, hills, heat, tire pressure, ride mode, and stop-and-go traffic.
Is it waterproof for rainy season?+
It is water resistant according to its rating, not designed for submersion. Avoid deep puddles, skip pressure washing, and dry the charging port before plugging in.
Does it work in beach towns like Santa Teresa, Tamarindo, or Nosara?+
Yes, when the route matches the model’s tires, suspension, and power. Near the ocean we recommend frequent cleaning, covered storage, and brake/connector checks because of salt air and humidity.
Can it handle rough roads or gravel?+
It can handle mixed surfaces when the model is matched correctly and tires, brakes, and suspension are maintained. For frequent gravel or broken roads, prioritize larger tires, suspension, and battery reserve.
